Wine description
The Le Marognole's Amarone della Valpolicella "Camporocco" is made with 60% Corvina and Corvinone, 30% Rondinella and 10% Croatina grapes. Its light sugar and alcohol content is supported by a good acidity, which helps to enhance the aromas and maintain them over time. It goes well with roasts, grilled meat and game. Excellent with aged cheeses, but also suitable as a meditation wine.
Tasting Notes
It combines power and elegance on the nose and in the mouth. Intense cherry notes with balsamic herbs and toasted bread.
Vinification
Amarone della Valpolicella "Camporocco" is obtained from a careful selection of traditional grapes, left to dry for 4-5 months in wooden trays, and then vinified at a controlled temperature. Then it is placed in small oak barrels to complete the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
24 months in tonneaux and oak barrels of 500 - 400 - 225 liters for 24 months, of first and second usage.
