Wine description
The Francesco Versio's Barbaresco comes two small plots of old vines in Neive: one in the vineyard of San Cristoforo, planted in 1969 and the other one in Currà. Francesco Versio decided to start producing his own wine after having worked as cellarman, and then oenologist, at Bruno Giacosa with Dante Scaglione. The Francesco Versio's Barbaresco is described as one of the denomination's rising stars, a Barbaresco for Nebbiolo lovers.

Ageing
Aged in a Stockinger botte grande.
