Wine description
The Barbaresco Riserva Quindicianni (fifteen years) is the Cascina Baricchi's "Great Vintage", produced only in exceptional years. The wine is put on the market after 15 years from the harvest and it's the the result of a long refinement of Barbaresco grapes. A perfect mix of power and elegance.
Tasting Notes
Color: ruby red tending to dark red Scent: floral notes with hints of fresh fruit such as plum, cherry and raspberry, herbaceous and slightly spicy Taste: elegant and harmonious, of good persistence, pleasant in its freshness
Vinification
Fermentation with maceration for 10 days in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
5 years in large Slavonian oak barrels and then 10 years in bottle.
