Wine description
The Val delle Corti's Chianti Classico Riserva is a 100% Sangiovese grapes wine, coming from 40-year-old vineyards at 450 m above sea level. The Riserva is only made in exceptionally good years with the best Sangiovese grapes selected from the estate’s oldest vineyards. The vineyards are organically grown and Val delle Corti has become a reference point for the authentic Chianti Classico without heaviness and artifices. It has great ageing potential, improving considerably over the years to express the characteristics of minerality, fresh fruit and outstanding elegance.

3 weeks in stainless steel, or 2 weeks in topless tonneaux with natural yeasts.
Ageing
24 months in old barriques and tonneaux followed by a bottle ageing of 6 months.
