Wine description
Wine symbol of the style and history of the Antinori estate, produced only in the best vintages and only with the grapes of the Tignanello vineyard, in the Mercatale Val di Pesa area, in the Chianti Classico. Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes are scrupulously selected; vinification and aging take place separately in French and Hungarian oak barrels; the whole process is aimed at keeping the typicality and the scents of the individual vines to the maximum.
Tasting Notes
Color: intense ruby red Scent: deep and intense, notes of ripe red fruit, enriched with woody hints and aromas of sweet spices (vanilla) Taste: in the mouth it has a good structure, rich and well-balanced, with lively tannins and a persistent finish.
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks, with maceration for 9-10 days

12 months in barrique
