Wine description
Mastroberardino's RADICI FIANO DI AVELLINO DOCG is made with Fiano di Avellino grapes coming from the vineyards in Santo Stefano al Sole. This wine is the result of a careful and continuous research for the identification of the best grape-territory combination, Radici was born to exalt the concept of a return to the "roots". It's a wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar.
Tasting Notes
Colour: straw yellow Scent: a multitude of aromas including hints of pear, pineapple, acacia, hazelnut, citrus, hawthorn and floral nuances Taste: wine of good acidity but at the same time of great softness. The initial hints of white peach and grapefruit close with strong notes of dried fruit.
Vinification
Harvested in the second half of October, the grapes go through a classic white vinification in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Ageing
Bottle aging for three/four months.
