Wine description
The Paraschos' Kai is a white wine made of 100% Friulano grapes coming from 80 years old vines grown in the vineyards in Gradiscutta and Lucinico.
Tasting Notes
Color: bright gold Scent: complex and wide, with salty notes, peated touches, honey, syrup fruits and sweet spices Taste: fresh, rich, rustic and full-bodied, it closes with a long finish with a pleasant tannic grip and touches of iodine.
Vinification
Grapes are usually harvested in the first two weeks of September. Alcoholic fermentation in open topped vats with no refrigeration and no added yeasts for 2 - 4 days.
Ageing
In large Slavonian oak barrels (15 - 25 hl) for minimum 24 months on the lees.
