Wine description
The Silvia Imparato's Montevetrano was born as a game between wine lovers, and soon became a symbol. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Aglianico are the soul of this great red, awarded for 14 years with 3 glasses. A wine that is the reflection of its land, all character and structure, and that captures attention with a nuance, a detail at every vintage.
Tasting Notes
Nice bright and dark color. Soft fruits, but also a lot of notes that recall the land with volcanic hints and graphite. It closes with very good tannins.
Vinification
Fermentaton in stainless steel for about 20 days, after draining of 15%.
Ageing
14 months in 225LT new and second usage barriques made of Nevers and Allier and Troncais oak. Maturation in bottle for 6 months before release.
