Wine description

I Favati's Taurasi Terzotratto is a robust and energetic Taurasi, consistent and rich, an Aglianico with a strong and powerful character. Taurasi Terzotratto is an excellent red wine, with a unparalleled quality/price ratio. It is a Taurasi not to be missed.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red the color at sight, tending to garnet with aging. The nose is full of ripe dark berry fruits, such as cherries, raspberries and black cherries, followed by tertiary hints of juniper berries, humus and coffee. In the mouth is energetic in the tannic texture, warm and consistent, of excellent length.

Vinification

In steel tanks at controlled temperature.

Ageing

36 months in wooden barrels of first and second usage.
