Wine description
The Luigi Oddero's Barolo is produced with Nebbiolo grapes coming from three vineyards located in La Morra, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba, all in the DOCG area in Piedmont. This Barolo with its unmistakable, intense, persistent and very pleasant aroma has an excellent tannic texture that completes the structure and makes it suitable for a long time aging.
Tasting Notes
Color: bright garnet red with light orange reflections Scent: aroma of wild berries, sweet spices, licorice and mountain hay Taste: delicate, harmonious taste with excellent persistence and structure.
Vinification
Fermentation with maceration for 12 to 15 days with indigenous yeasts.
Ageing
In stainless steel vats and then 24 months in medium/large-size french oak barrels. 12 months in bottle.
